“Opera dell’Amore”
(Creation of Love) Movement “ Information Below are very concise details on the
Movement “ The main headquarters are situaded
in The general purpose of the Movement is the
same as all private Associations constituted by faithful laymen, as according
to the rules of the Church. The specific purpose is to make visible Jesus
Christ’s Love, living and to give this Love with Passion in an appropriate
manner whenever able. The President-Founder is Mr. Paolo Ferri from Tricarico (MT) – The Creation-Movement has been acknowledged
by the Ecclesiastic authority and Italian State (ONLUS). The Council is composed by members from the
south, the centre and the north of This spiritual family that counts for more
than 1,000 Followers from all Italian regions and also abroad, started its
activities in August 1975 at the Sanctuary of the “Beata
Vergine Maria Addolorata”,
in Santa Brigida (BG) – Italy. The Charisma is Love
and the Spirituality is “the Path of Love”. The Charisma is the name of the Association. The Spirituality is the name of the Movement. The members have the name of “People of Love”. People from all walks
of life (everyone) can belong to this movement. We promote every form of consecrated,
secular, religious, priestly and diaconal life. The Centre The members converge at the centre with the
purpose to form and to know themselves and to love each other during this Itinerary. We take care to grow up in
Faith, Hope, and most of all in Love: towards God and to one another. The Agapes The Agapes are congresses opened to everybody
and they last from between half a day and one week. They are programmed during
certain periods of the year and they take place in different locations,
according to the opportunities we have or the requests that are forwarded us. They are suitable for all ages, from the very
young to the elderly. We also carry out Agapes-holidays (study-work-tourism) that are an alternative in a
world that very often is not able to “organize a holiday”. The Miryam-Groups We have Miryam-Groups
of prayer and
spiritualty. These groups are constituted to let the
participants grow in their spiritual life, their union with God (Vertical
Love) and with Charity towards our fellow human beings (Horizontal Love). The Besides the normal “missionary life” which we
live with Passion because we greathy desire that
the Gospel of Jesus Christ reaches the four corners of the world, we also
organize different missions that are established and prepared as required and
in harmony with the Ecclesiastic hierarchy. The Formation Since 1985, we organize formative courses on
our spirituality ( lived in the daily life) and
courses of religious culture. According to the possibilities, we prepare
the Christian to be a very faithful individual in every sector: familiar,
social, scholastic, cultural, political, in work and sport… The Works With Love for God and for our fellow
creatures, our main job is carried out working, with but not exclusively, on
six people groups: 1) unwanted or abandoned children; 2) unmarried mothers;
3) separated, divorced, living together couples; 4) young people, teenagers,
people with disabilities; 5) young people, teenagers and children; 6) the
elderly. Poor people have priority. The Publishing House Conscious of the importance of the press,
since 1982, the Movement has its own publishing house (Myriam
Editor) with eight titles and the printing of 22,000 volumes in Moreover, we have printed 10,000 copies of
the journal that explains the Movement and other numerous prints totalling
more than 100,000 copies in We are also preparing a new edition of the
journal in other languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese. Recently, we have also participated to the XX
